EVERYTHING BUT…
It’s kind of a riddle, a bit of a rhyme.
We choose it…abuse it then we leave it behind.
We fill it with ice cream as high as can be.
Then we add syrups, and nuts and candy.
You are expected to eat this so you might bring some friends
Or you might feel sick when you get to the end.
Fill it with cups, plates, pots, and pans.
Fit anything in there that you possibly can.
Then sometimes we leave it and what do you think?
That’s right. The
mess starts to really stink.
Put in the carrots, potatoes, and roast
Add cinnamon, sugar, and maybe some toast.
It can all be served with lemonade that is pink,
You can add everything but the kitchen sink.
When you’re leaving the house for the office or vacation,
Take anything you might need to complete your reservation.
Gather pillows and bags and something to drink.
